Compulsory civil liability insurance of owners (carriers) of automobile vehicles to third parties
By the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan dated November 11, 2016 No. 14993, the terms of the "State compulsory civil liability insurance of owners (carriers) of motor vehicles to third parties" are reduced to international standards. The owner (carrier) of a motor vehicle is obliged to insure its civil liability for all motor vehicles operating in the territory of Turkmenistan. The owners (carriers) of automobile vehicles are understood to mean legal entities and individuals operating automobile vehicles on the basis of their property rights, economic management rights, operational management rights, or for other reasons.
