Compulsory state fire insurance
By Decree №14613 of the President of Turkmenistan on February 18, 2016 “State obligatory insurance against fire” was enacted in Turkmenistan. Legal persons included into list, as well as foreign legal persons, carrying out their activity in the territory of Turkmenistan (except institutions financed at the expense of State budgetary funds of Turkmenistan), conclude insurance contract for the calendar year from January 1 to December 31. The insured persons arisen after January 1 conclude insurance contract according to the legislation of Turkmenistan from the date of registration to December 31 of the current year. The insurance contract on forthcoming year is concluded in the period from October 1 to December 31 of the current year.

The objects of insurance are the property interests of the insured person and civil liability for losses (damage) which can be caused to the life, health and property of third parties as a result of fire.
What to do in case of an insured event?
Immediately, but not later than 3 (three) working days to hand in claim notification to the insurance organization.
