Obligatory state ecological insurance
Thanks to the policy pursued by the leader of the nation Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Turkmenistan makes a worthy contribution to environmental protection, careful preservation of terrestrial and water resources, preservation of the marine environment and its variety, and also for ecological safety and a sustainable development, rational use of natural resources, ensuring insurance protection of life, health, property of the third parties and environment in the territory of Turkmenistan the Resolution of the President of Turkmenistan from February 08, 2013 with No. 12832 in Turkmenistan entered obligatory state ecological insurance.

The purpose of obligatory state ecological insurance is indemnification (damage) caused to life, health, property of the third parties and (or) environment as a result of its emergency pollution. To the enterprises, institutions, the organizations irrespective of forms of ownership (except the establishments financed by means of the State budget of Turkmenistan), including the foreign legal entities, their branches, representations, and also the natural persons who are engaged in business activity without formation of legal entity, which are carrying out ecologically dangerous kinds of activity are obliged at the expense of own means to provide obligatory ecological insurance.
What to do in case of an insured event?
Immediately, but not later than 3 working days to apply the application in written form to the insurance organization and corresponding bodies (investigatory, judicial, police or other institutions)
