Voluntary space risk insurance

Our organization offers insurance of space technology, personal insurance of workers of ground-based space objects, as well as liability insurance for damage caused to the life, health or property of third parties to legal entities and individuals engaged in space activities or to persons who use or create space technology at their request.

What we insure against?

In property insurance – partial and/or complete damage of the insured property at any stage of space activities specified in the contract In personal insurance – injury, disability or death while performing official duties on a ground-based space infrastructure facility. In case of civil liability insurance- damage to the life, health and/or property of third parties when the policyholder performs space work specified in the insurance contract.

What to do in case of an insured event?

Immediately, but not later than 3 working days to apply the application in written form to the insurance organization and corresponding bodies (medical institutions, investigatory, judicial, police or other institutions).

Requirements for acquiring an insurance certificate

Submit an application to the insurance company
Together with the application submit the following documents (or copies):
license for carrying out space activities
certificate of conformity of space technology
certificate of state registration of a space activity object
list of space objects offered for insurance
documents confirming the cost and right to the object

Necessary documents for the payment of the sum insured?

a)in case of property damage: application; insurance policy; list of damaged property; copies of documents confirming the property interest in the insured property; documents issued by expert and competent authorities, including documents on registration of an insured event; documents confirming the amount of expenses paid.
b) for personal insurance: application; insurance policy; report on an accident at the enterprise; reference form No. 195 of the medical institution; the identity document; in case of disability-a certified copy of the certificate of disability designation indicating the group; at death-a notarized copy of the death certificate; certificate of inheritance issued by a notary.
c) for civil liability insurance: application; insurance policy; reference form No. 195 of the medical institution; notarized copy of the third party's death certificate; a copy of the claim for compensation submitted to the insurer, if the claim is considered in court, then a copy of the relevant court decision; the identity document; documents of the competent authorities on damage or destruction of property, on the cost of repair and restoration work; documents about the damage caused and its size; documents of the competent authorities on the occurrence of an insured event, the causes and amount of damage.
